Kitchen repair

Hello everyone! I plan to restore the kitchen furniture at home. All the materials seem to be found. The only problem is I can’t choose which is more practical and better to make a countertop. The choice is before a wooden and marble countertop, like this one. What advice can you give me? Who which option would you choose?
